Dear Parents and Players,
As we begin the 2024 season of Little League baseball here in Burlington, on behalf of the Burlington Little League Board, I’d like to welcome all the new and returning families. Our League is a volunteer-based organization; and we rely upon volunteers and sponsors to allow the League to operate. I can’t thank everyone enough for taking the time out of their already busy schedules to help out wherever is needed. Remember, we are doing this all for the kids by creating those memories for them to reminisce about later in life. Like their first homerun, the three-hit game, the game saving catch, or that friend they made during T- ball season!
The coaches will teach them the fundamentals and all about the game itself. Some kids will be more competitive, some are more eager to learn that knuckle ball and some just want the after-game snack!
They will succeed, and they will fail, but that is what makes baseball a great game. Remember that as parents when you are watching these games, you cheer positively for both teams, sit back, and enjoy the games. We highly value our players, volunteer coaches and umpires, we want to show them our gratitude.
Our League is made up of five divisions: T-ball, Rookie, Minors, Majors. The league is comprised of more than 600 players that make up over 40 teams throughout the league. You will find games being played six days a week (Mon-Sat) down at the Hintz Complex or over at Branen Field.
Please look over our website to find additional information, such as game schedules, League updates, volunteer information and more. You’ll also find information about our sponsors under the About Us tab. Please support our local businesses that help support our League. You can also follow us on our Facebook page - Burlington Little League.
Soon the fields will be ready, concession stands will be stocked, and the umps will be ready to go. See everyone at the park this year!
Sincerely,
John Krueger
Burlington Little League President
